I LOVE this part: "As for me I want to be on his list on the day I die." When you watch the video he sings it with such conviction and determination as if someone was trying to steal away his rights and stifle his lively spirit of worship but never will let it get close to his heart because he values it more than life it self!
Listening to the song is like watching the Passion of the Christ in your mind but celebrating the after part of the movie. I was in the garden tomb in Israel many years ago and I can picture the whole thing... as the song describes: the sound of them running to the tomb, the laughter in the distance, the wonder as he gets closer of what happened, the angels speaking dressed in white like a knight to deliver the message for the King, Thomas touching his body to know, our lives dead inside not letting the story change your heart with exceeding excitement, choosing a Judas kiss or bowing down to the maker, choosing to be blind...

they were carryin on, singing a song, something about a grave
and it blew my mind, there was no reason to their rhyme,
they were having such a good time singing “He’s ALIVE!”

the first one I saw was Mary, and I thought this was some cruel lie
but her tears had turned to laughter and she was a' runnin' for her life
I knew that no one would believe her, cus we only believe our eyes
so we ran to the tomb, it was an empty room and Jesus was nowhere in sight!
and it blew my mind that he rolled that stone aside
that two angels dressed in white said “Woman why do you cry?”

the next thing I knew he was standing right there in a room front of all his friends
we were so freaked out and full of doubt that Thomas stuck his hands right in
you woulda thought that that would be enough
and we would worship him right there and then
but it was hard to accept, we had seen his death how could he be alive again?
and it blew my mind that in just 3 days time,
he had left the grave behind…O MY GOD, He’s alive….

Well, here you are Easter morning, dressed in your very best
thinking bunnies and brunch, and colored eggs, thinking you could use some rest
how come the church is so full today, twice it’s normal size?
If the Easter story is so great and all, why am I so dead inside?
and it blows my mind, how you can go back to your life
and and choose to be so blind when HE’S ALIVE
and it all comes down to this, you can BOW DOWN or give a Judas kiss
now how much longer can you resist? as for me I want to be on his list on the day I die
How much longer is anybody going to deny
Wake up oh sleeper and arise from the dead and Christ will shine upon you.
